Our purpose is to create space for you to arrive home to yourself through retreat experiences focused on igniting presence, compassion and awareness - with ourselves and each other. 


Born out of a desire to “spend more time together doing our favourite things” Arrive Here Wellness & Retreats is a space for us to humbly share whatever pearls of wisdom we possess, from yoga to meditation and beyond.


Thanks for stopping by. We welcome the spiritual warrior from all walks of life to join us in learning from ancient yogic practices infused with a fresh energy in modern time and space. We look forward to connecting with you!

2024 Autumn Grounding Retreat 

Welcome!

 

We are thrilled to invite you to our annual Autumn Grounding Retreat weekend. This year, we are especially excited to announce a new retreat venue and location...the Green Nest Lodge in Buckhorn, Ontario!

Experience the magic of autumn as you embark on a journey of letting go, connecting with nature, and nurturing your mind, body, and soul.

 

Date: September 27th to 29th, 2024 

Location: Green Nest Lodge, Buckhorn, Ontario

Arrival time: Friday, September 27 4pm

Departure time: Sunday, September 29 1pm 

 

Join us for a transformative autumn retreat experience.

Escape to a new space amidst fall's vibrant colours and tranquil waters. Immerse in yoga, meditation, and community gatherings for balance and connection. Surrender to nature walks, lakefront views, and nourish with wholesome meals.

What to expect:

  • A nourishing weekend surrounded by water on a beautiful lakefront property to do as much or as little as you need

  • Circle gatherings for community connection 

  • Daily morning and evening guided yoga and meditation practices

  • Vegan gluten-free meals prepared by our private earth-to-table chef

  • Autumn-themed workshop to inspire inner reflection/self-care practice 

  • Free time for hiking, swimming, lounging in the indoor jet spa, sitting by the fire, reading, journaling, gazing at the clouds

All activities are optional (for real).

Suggested itinerary will be provided prior to arrival.

NEW Location

Located in Buckhorn, Ontario, the Green Nest Lodge sits on the spring-fed, turquoise coloured lake with a sandy bottom, Sandy Lake. Also known as the "Lake of Spirits", the lake has been worshipped by the Indigenous People of this area for over thousands of years.

The Lodge has 5 suites, 10 rooms and 7.5 baths. The property features 2 acres of land with 5 levels of outdoor space, an abundance of indoor common space, with multiple lake view seating areas -- lake view lounge, upstairs sun lounge, a living room with library of books, a 22-jet heated swim spa and a dedicated open space for yoga/meditation.

Double Getaway

Weekend retreat for two. Register with one friend or get paired with another person in a shared space.

$999 CAD each person (8 spots available)

Solo Adventure

Weekend retreat for one. For the soul who prefers personal space for rest or solitude in a private room.

 

$1111 CAD each person (4 spots available)

Accommodation is provided by Green Nest Lodge.​

WHAT IF I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

No problem! Just let us know of any food restrictions, allergies, or sensitivities and we’ll make sure there are options to meet your needs. Healthy, plant-based and organic meals will be served, with a focus on wholesome, nutrient dense foods. Look forward to fuelling your body with delicious and energizing seasonal food. With vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options available.

 

DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE IN EVERYTHING ON THE SCHEDULE?

Absolutely not - this retreat is meant to serve your needs/preferences. Everything is optional – you are invited to participate in as little or as much as you feel like!

 

CAN I COME ALONE?

Of course. Coming solo to a retreat is a wonderful way to connect to yourself and allow more space for rest. It can also encourage you to make new friends with like-hearted individuals. - Feel free to come alone or with a friend or group. 

 

WHAT TYPE OF YOGA IS IT - AND IS IT BEGINNER FRIENDLY?

All levels are welcome! Krystal and Amanda are both 500+-Hour certified yoga teachers trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin Yoga styles. A variety of yoga classes will be offered with safe and accessible modifications suitable for all levels – even if it’s your first time!

 

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Please arrive in comfortable clothes that you can move in. Bring a yoga mat and props if you like your own (otherwise, mats and props will be provided), a refillable water bottle, hiking clothes/shoes (dress for the weather), slippers and toiletries. Bring a journal if you’d like to reflect or take notes. Anything else you need to be comfortable and fully enjoy the weekend. Feel free to bring your favourite snacks.

Leslie Brennan, Retreat Chef

Leslie is the hands and heart behind the wholesome food that nourishes our retreats. Her consciously crafted creations are rooted in a heartfelt desire to reconnect in the beauty and wonderment to that which nourishes us. Integration is woven into every aspect, from the growing and the harvesting practices, sourcing farm fresh, organic, and local foraged ingredients, to personalized menu creation with a focus on seasonal alchemy; offering a vital, wholesome, high vibrational experience.

Krystal Clark, Yoga Teacher

Krystal is a yoga instructor, mindful beauty expert, and folk herbalist inspired by the cycles of nature. As a student of life, she continues to seek personal growth rooted in compassion and curiosity. Passionate about sharing the knowledge and tools that have impacted her life, Krystal strives to help others find connection, wonder, balance, strength, ease and intention both on and off the yoga mat.

Amanda Tran, Yoga Teacher

Amanda has been practicing yoga as a student since 2007 and guiding others since 2017. To her, yoga isn't just poses—it's a sacred journey of connection to the self and others. With a sprinkle of cosmic wisdom passed down from her teachers and a dash of heart-centered energy from lived experiences, Amanda's classes invite you to explore the divine within. Join her on the mat, where every breath invites you into the present moment and every movement is a meditation.
